"MARCHING TOGETHER IN RECONCILIATION AND PEACE"
AICUF
KARNATAKA STATE CONVENTION
The
AICUF Karnataka State Convention 2024 was held on November 16, 2024,
at St Joseph’s Law College, Bengaluru, with the theme “Marching
Together in Reconciliation and Peace.” The day began at 08:00
AM with registration and distribution of convention kits, followed by
an interactive icebreaker session featuring action songs, spot
games, and a theme introduction.
The inaugural
ceremony included a captivating welcome dance, lighting of the lamp,
and inspiring speeches by Dr Fr Maxim Dias SJ, Mr Cyril
Prabhu, and Dr Fr Daniel Fernandes SJ. Ms Bhavya
Narasimhamurthy delivered a keynote address on youth
leadership and transformational change, setting an engaging tone for the
day.
Workshops
began at 11:00 AM, with sessions on leadership by Dr
Fr Jesu Benjamine SJ, constitutional awareness and gender equality by Ms
Rakshitha, and election awareness by Ms Rohini
Rajasekaran, all enriched by discussions and
Q&A. Post-lunch, a dynamic panel discussion on reconciliation
and peace featured senior AICUFers, moderated by Mr Thomas Alexander.
The
final session by Fr Denzil Fernandes SJ emphasized
reconciliation, followed by group discussions and action plan formulation. The
day concluded with a closing ceremony, AICUF Anthem, and group
pictures, leaving participants inspired to march forward with purpose and
unity.
