Our Impact in thier words inspired by the Mission.
The Youth Commission of Karnataka Jesuit Province empowers young people to navigate evolving social, digital, cultural, and spiritual trends. Our mission is to foster social consciousness, spiritual growth, and critical thinking through discernment, enabling youth to address today’s challenges. By promoting collaborative networks, diverse voices, and shared leadership, we listen to young people’s concerns and nurture spiritual connections. This inclusive approach fosters communal growth, helping youth become compassionate, just citizens who contribute meaningfully to society.
Fr Joel Fernandes SJ
Director – KJES Youth Works
The Karnataka Jesuit Educational Society’s youth works have had a profound impact on shaping the lives of countless young people. Through their holistic approach to education, they emphasize not just academic excellence but also social responsibility, leadership, and a deep sense of justice. By empowering youth to be agents of change, they foster critical thinking and compassion, especially for the marginalized. As a part of their initiatives, I have witnessed firsthand how students grow into leaders who not only succeed in their personal lives but also contribute meaningfully to society, rooted in Ignatian values.
