A vibrant team of AICUFers from Karnataka wholeheartedly participated in the 6th AICUF National Convention held at Loyola College, Chennai, from 15th to 18th May 2025. Held under the powerful theme “Students in Pursuit of Change: Embrace, Engage and Encourage,” the convention was a remarkable platform that brought together AICUFers from across the country to reflect, collaborate, and reignite their shared commitment to building a just and inclusive society.

The Karnataka delegation actively engaged in a wide range of activities throughout the four-day event. One of the key highlights was the session on constitutional learning and amendments, where students delved into the structure and spirit of the AICUF Constitution. Their meaningful participation in discussions and democratic decision-making processes demonstrated their dedication to shaping the future of the movement.

The convention also featured a series of inspiring talks and interactive sessions led by Jesuit mentors, scholars, and social activists. These talks challenged participants to think critically about the role of students in driving societal change, addressing pressing issues such as inequality, marginalization, and youth participation in social justice. Karnataka AICUFers contributed enthusiastically, offering insights from their local contexts and learning from the experiences of others.

Group discussions provided a space for reflection and mutual learning, where AICUFers from different states exchanged stories, struggles, and visions for the future. These conversations fostered a deep sense of solidarity and unity among participants. Creative and cultural activities added vibrancy to the convention, with action songs, art, street theatre, and performances providing moments of joy, expression, and collective bonding. The Karnataka team left a lasting impression through their energetic and heartfelt participation in these events.

The 6th AICUF National Convention was not merely an event but a journey — one that nurtured growth, leadership, and hope. It reinforced the values of AICUF and its centenary vision, encouraging students to embrace diversity, engage with real-world challenges, and encourage one another in the pursuit of transformation. The AICUFers of Karnataka returned with renewed inspiration, strengthened friendships, and a deeper commitment to walking with the marginalized and building a hope-filled future.
