State Council Elections 2025-26
The All India Catholic University Federation (AICUF) Karnataka successfully conducted the AICUF State Council Elections on 25th July 2025 at St Joseph’s College, Hassan. The programme served as an important democratic platform for AICUF members from various units across the state to come together and elect their new state leadership.
The elections witnessed the active participation of around 200 AICUF members, reflecting strong involvement and commitment toward the organizational vision and mission. Representatives from different colleges and units gathered to take part in the electoral process, making the event a significant milestone in strengthening democratic values and collective responsibility among the youth.
The entire election process was guided and supervised by Fr Maxim, Fr Joel, and Mr Salman, who ensured that the proceedings were conducted in a transparent, fair, and systematic manner. Their guidance helped create an atmosphere of trust, discipline, and active engagement among the participants.
The programme emphasized the importance of leadership formation, accountability, and participatory decision-making. Members were encouraged to exercise their right to vote responsibly and to understand the role of leadership in nurturing unity, service, and social commitment within AICUF.
The AICUF State Council Elections 2025 concluded smoothly with the successful selection of the new state council members. The event reaffirmed AICUF’s commitment to democratic principles and youth leadership, empowering young minds to take up responsibilities with dedication and a sense of service toward society and the Church.
