IGNITORS - INTEGRAL
FORMATION PROGRAMME

The KJES Youth Animators successfully conducted the “Ignitors – Integral Formation Programme”, an orientation and leadership initiative, on 25th and 26th July 2025 at St Joseph’s College, Hassan. The programme was designed to foster holistic development among young students by focusing on leadership, soft skills, social awareness, and value-based formation.

The two-day programme witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 900 students, making it a vibrant platform for learning, interaction, and personal growth. The sessions were animated and engaging, catering to the intellectual, emotional, social, and moral dimensions of youth formation.

A team of experienced and dynamic youth animators, including Fr Joel, Fr Lancy, Mr Salman, Ms Jassica, Ms Albina, Mr Merwin, Mr Anson, and Mr Sohan, guided the students through a series of thoughtfully planned sessions. Each resource person brought unique insights and practical experiences, helping students relate theoretical concepts to real-life situations.

The programme covered key areas such as soft skills development, including communication, teamwork, self-confidence, and leadership qualities. Special emphasis was also laid on social analysis, enabling students to critically understand social realities, challenges, and responsibilities. Through interactive talks, activities, reflections, and group discussions, students were encouraged to become socially conscious, responsible, and proactive citizens.

“Ignitors” aimed not only at skill enhancement but also at integral formation, inspiring students to discover their potential, strengthen their values, and develop a sense of purpose and service. The sessions motivated participants to take leadership roles in their academic institutions and communities, fostering a spirit of collaboration, ethical leadership, and social commitment.

The programme concluded with a renewed sense of enthusiasm and clarity among the participants. The overwhelming response and active involvement of students reflected the relevance and impact of the initiative. Ignitors – Integral Formation Programme proved to be a meaningful step towards empowering young minds to become confident leaders and responsible contributors to society.
